Printograph, Inc DBA GotPrint.com, Inc has received the coveted Benjamin Franklin “Benny” award for the Digital Enhancement category. The winning work is an annual booklet called the Broker’s Product List (BPL). The BPL is a collection of each product GotPrint offers, as well as planned future offerings, showcasing the company’s capabilities to their broker customers, as well as other print industry leaders.

This year, notes Erina Sookiasian, Website Product Manager, GotPrint, they used the Scodix Ultra Pro with Foil to take it one step further. “We trusted the Scodix press to UV coat the entire cover of the BPL, to showcase the capabilities of our new system. It allows us to really flaunt our design concept and creativity. In the end, we were so pleased that we distributed over 100,000 of our catalogs to those in the print industry.”

She continues, “Scodix allowed us to combine technology and creativity to present a truly unique piece to demonstrate what GotPrint is all about. The Raised UV feature allowed us to give our products an extra design element with a modern edge. It’s all about the ‘WOW’ effect, and Scodix helped us achieve that with each and every recipient of our 2017 Brokers Product List.”

While this isn’t the first award GotPrint has received, Sookiasian says it is the most recognizable. “This award tells us that we are doing something right in the industry, and that it is being recognized. We always strive to be the best and Scodix allows us to achieve new heights. It further emphasizes our commitment to reliability and the quality of our products. In the end, it really showed the marketplace what we are truly made of.”

Scodix CEO Roy Porat notes, “We are excited for GotPrint to have won this prestigious award. We know our technology helps printers create works of art — and this just goes to show how true that is. With a bit of creativity, the sky truly is the limit when it comes to the incredible work that can be created with Scodix presses. We know this is only the beginning for GotPrint too — we can’t wait to see what they produce next!

Award-Winning Technology

It’s not just GotPrint that has been winning awards this summer. Recently, Scodix won 2017 Printing Industries of America InterTech Technology Award. The annual award recognizes technological innovation and excellence in the commercial printing industry.

The Scodix Ultra Pro with Foil digital press transforms a very time-consuming analog and expensive process that enables service providers and their customers to enhance their prints with vibrant foil treatments. Using the inline Scodix digital workflow, foil enhances any project in-house, who today have to outsource the foil application or to use a long and expensive make ready processes that include molds and dies.

“We were incredibly honored to receive this award,” says Porat. “We are proud of the impact the Scodix Ultra Pro with Foil is having on the market, allowing users to create innovative pieces that broaden their target markets and increase their revenue — firms like GotPrint and their Benny-winning Broker’s Product List are just one example.”
