Pure Placid, a budding lifestyle brand based in New York has created high-quality experiential products and gathered support within the industry.

The company offers a wide range of naturally scented products that capture a relaxing essence, including hand soaps and washes, body creams, lotions, linen sprays and hand-poured soy candles. Scents include Maple-Syrup Sunday Morning and White Cedar Whiteface Hike, to name a few.

"It's so peaceful here in the Adirondacks. I wanted to create the feeling of being here, in pristine mountains, trees, and lakes," Marcy Miller, founder, says about one of the company's recent collections, in a release. "I want people to be able to experience it through texture and smells. Not everyone visits the Adirondacks, so I hope to bring a little bit of the Adirondacks to them."

Each product is made free of any harsh chemicals, sulfates, phthalates or parabens. Every product is developed with an attention to both the consumer and the environment.

"I wanted to create luxurious products that people want to display, not only natural but beautiful," Miller says.

Pure Placid also has mindful packaging, for each product is packaged in bottles made from recycled materials.
