TFI Envision cooks up award winning package

Two years ago, Inventor and a Principal at Airigan Solutions, LLC, Bonnie Tyler, was asked to bring her famous deviled eggs to a party. She arrived empty handed because she was unable to cleanly peel the eggs. The following day, finding no solution, she invented The Negg - a fast, easy, fun kitchen tool to help peel hard boiled eggs quickly.

The original product packaging served its purpose to get the product off the ground. But two years later, the folks at Airigan Solutions, LLC learned that shoppers had trouble understanding what the product was and how to use it. So they reached out to the TFI Envision team to re-design the packaging for The Negg Egg Peeler.

The designers at TFI Envision improved the visual communication of the carton with:

- The front of the package incorporating all new photography of the product with an ‘egg’ inside the product to quickly identify product usage

- The sides also feature new photography of the instruction sequence (shaking, and pulling off large egg peel) to demonstrate how easily the product works

- Color coding the box top with a gingham pattern that matches SKU color to make it easy for shoppers to select the product of their choice (and bring more warmth personality to the product)

The newly redesigned packaging by TFI Envision for The Negg has already received a design excellence award from American Graphic Design 2017!
