NuGo Nutrition is expanding its line of products by launching NuGo Protein Cookies, the first and only gluten-free, vegan pea protein cookie. NuGo is the first major protein bar brand to launch protein cookies. The deliciously baked cookies have a short list of clean, Non-GMO ingredients that pack 16 grams of protein in every package.

“We’re proud to have made a deliciously baked cookie satisfying the consumer demand for plant-based protein products that cater to many lifestyles,” says David Levine, NuGo CEO. Consumers who eat gluten-free and vegan can now enjoy the classic cookie flavors they crave, while getting the protein and fiber they need. They are available in four flavors with homemade taste and goodness: Peanut Butter Chocolate, Double Chocolate, Oatmeal Raisin, and Dark Chocolate Chip.

Features of NuGo Protein Cookies:

Vegan, Gluten-Free, Kosher Pareve, and Non-GMO

16g Plant Protein per 100 gram cookie

10-12g Fiber per cookie

Real Dark Chocolate Chips

No Soy, Dairy, or Egg

No Artificial Sweeteners, Sugar Alcohols, or HFCS

No Palm Oil, Margarine, Trans Fat, or Cholesterol

The cookies join the expansive lineup of NuGo vegan, gluten-free protein bars: NuGo Dark, NuGo Free, and four NuGo Slim flavors with a very low glycemic index of 29. NuGo Nutrition pioneered real dark chocolate coated protein bars for many lifestyles.

When NuGo states dark chocolate coated bars or chips, NuGo means real healthy, real delicious, real dark chocolate. The real dark chocolate chips and coating in NuGo cookies and protein bars melt below body temperature.  When consuming, the natural cocoa butter separates from the cocoa powder providing the smooth texture, while releasing immense real chocolate flavor.

Many other bars are deceptively labeled as dark chocolate. They substitute unhealthy palm kernel oil for natural cocoa butter. This process raises the melt point of fake chocolate above body temperature. When consuming, the imitation chocolate does not melt in your mouth, imparting a waxy texture and overly sweet taste. Sign NuGo’s dark chocolate petition.
