Printpack wins silver Flexible Packaging award

On Tuesday, March 13, the Flexible Packaging Association (FPA) awarded Printpack a Silver Award for Printing and Shelf Impact for Purina’s Black Label and Skinny Strips Beggin’ Strips.

The Beggin’ Strips pouches employ both tactile and visual elements to create packaging that is truly unique in the Pet Treat aisle. Both were printed flexo with six colors (extended gamut) and spot lacquer. The unique soft touch overprint lacquer was applied rotogravure. The combination of the matte and high gloss lacquers, along with metallic elements, makes for a sumptuous looking and feeling product that gets and holds the consumer’s attention.

Printpack is honored to be recognized by the FPA for its achievement in printing.
