Bertolli have launched new Bertolli with butter & olive oil infused with Lemon & Chilli flavor, to excite the avid home-cook and encourage versatile cooking in a convenient way.

Seeing an opportunity in the market to introduce a premium food product for the ever-busy consumer, Bertolli have launched a new Italian inspired, flavor infused blend with butter and olive oil.

Bertolli’s Sensations Lemon & Chilli adds flavor to your home cooking, and what’s better, does so in an easy and quick way. You simply add Sensations Lemon & Chilli to the pan with chicken, fish and vegetables to create a delicious tasting meal.

In order to communicate the key benefits of their new product, Bertolli sought the help of London based studio, Slice Design, to bring their pack design to life. Slice were tasked with naming and pack design for an NPD addition to the Bertolli range. The brief was to clearly communicate the versatility, convenience and usage of the premium blend with butter and olive oil on pack.

The pack design includes a recipe suggestion on the back of pack to help inspire the consumer and an illustration on front of pack to demonstrate the usage of the product. Attention was also given to the USP on front of pack to highlight the added benefit that the product doesn’t burn as quickly as butter at high temperatures, due to its blend of butter & olive oil.

Agency Comments (Alan Gilbody, Founder and Director)

Alan Gilbody at Slice Design Limited helped to explain some of the design features on pack.

“Key for us was the products ability to add inspiration to the cooking experience. We wanted to highlight every dish being a work of art so opted for a more creative illustration style”
