Brian O’Banion, Fibre Box Association’s (FBA) Director of Technical Services, has announced that he will leave the association to work as a consultant in the corrugated industry effective December 31, 2017.
“Brian has contributed significantly to FBA’s success over the past 17 years,” says FBA President and CEO Dennis Colley. “As he moves into a consulting role for the industry, the entire FBA staff offers him our best wishes.”
Over the years, Brian has served the association in a variety of roles. He has been responsible for FBA’s technical department leading the industry through its first-ever life cycle assessment (LCA) of an industry average corrugated box and the two subsequent LCA’s that followed. Brian actively led several of the association’s standing committees including the technical committee, the environmental committee and the safety and health committee. He planned and implemented successful association events such as the Independent Sheet Plant Operators Workshop, The Independent Corrugator Executive Conference and its successor, the FBA Corrugator Conference.
Brian will continue to provide support to the association as a consultant in 2018.
