Coloredge, the largest provider of visual marketing solutions for upscale brands and retailers, announced today that it has acquired Color By Number, a New York-based supplier of package prototyping and design services.

Headquartered in New York City, Color By Number provides packaging development services for some of the world’s best-known beauty, health and CPG brands. The seven-year-old business will become a division of Coloredge and will continue to serve existing clients from its midtown office under the leadership of its founder, Lisa McGowan.

“Coloredge is excited to combine forces with Color By Number,” says Jeb Ball, President and CEO of Coloredge. “The addition of Color By Number complements our packaging studios in Los Angeles and Atlanta, while giving Coloredge a strong, local presence for New York-area brands,” Ball says. “Equally important, Lisa McGowan is a subject matter expert on packaging development and very highly regarded in the industry.”

“Joining the Coloredge team is a transformational moment and a gratifying validation of Color By Number’s commitment to delivering consistently superior work, exceptional service, and impactful results,” says McGowan. “This is great news for our clients and for the industry in general,” McGowan added. “Placing Coloredge’s full portfolio of retail visual marketing solutions at the fingertips of our clients is a giant step in extending our service offering in the health and beauty market.”

The acquisition of Color By Number is the latest among several strategic acquisitions Coloredge has made in recent years, contributing to its year-over-year revenue growth.
