The Select Aperitivo brand has unveiled new packaging with a redesigned bottle and label that embraces its original Art Deco style and celebrates its rich heritage of nearly a century.
Select Aperitivo, founded in 1920, has been the essential ingredient for marking the Original Venetian Spritz. The new packaging was introduced during the Tales of the Cocktail 2018, cocktail festival in New Orleans.
The new bottle design brings key elements of history into focus: 1920 and Venice. The curved shaped bottle was inspired by the famous hand-blown glass artistry of Murano, a small island off of Venice where Select Aperitivo was produced.
The label has been enhanced with a new logo to tell the story of its origin; it notes that Select Aperitivo is made by carefully blending 30 botanicals with rhubarb root.
“As an essential ingredient in the Original Venetian Spritz, Select Aperitivo is being embraced by a new generation of cocktail enthusiasts,” says Rob Cullins, Regional Director of the Americas, Gruppo Montenegro. “We are reviving our classic packaging to celebrate the rich legacy of our brand, while incorporating new, modern elements to set the stage for the future of Select Aperitivo.”
