Mimaki has introduced the UCJV Series of UV LED print-and-cut devices, featuring a pair of 64-in. machines: the 4-color UCJV150-160 and the 7-color UCJV300-160. Applications include decals, window clings, floor graphics, P-O-P displays, vehicle graphics, packaging, prototypes, and more.
The 7-color model features a high-opacity white ink and is capable of printing up to four layers for backlit, day/night, and double-sided applications. With two printheads per color, print speeds reach up to 278 sq ft/hr.
The 4-color model offers one printhead per color and print speeds up to 169 sq ft/hr. Both machines are compatible with Mimaki’s LUS-170 UV inks. Max. resolution for the series is 1200 dpi.
The series includes RasterLink6 Plus software, featuring an ID Cut function, the ability to print registration marks and barcodes, four-layer print preview, and more.
Additional features include Mimaki Advanced Pass System 4, variable dot printing, waveform control, Mimaki Circulation Technology, a nozzle check unit and recovery system, and more. The inline cutter offers abilities such as half cuts, over cuts, automated continuous detection of crop marks, and segmented cutting.
