Pack Print International to Be Held in 2022

(PRESS RELEASE) CHICAGO — The next edition of Pack Print International, International Packaging and Printing Exhibition for Asia, has been postponed to Feb. 9-12, 2022 at BITEC in Bangkok, Thailand.

The move to next year from the original September 2021 dates will allow for optimum international participation. At the last staging in 2019, international exhibitors accounted for about 60 percent of the 325 participating companies, more than 19,000 visitors came from 62 countries.

It is anticipated that by next year, with further easing of travel restrictions and ongoing successful vaccine deployments worldwide, there will be a more optimistic environment for companies to do business safely and effectively at Pack Print International.

Gernot Ringling, managing director of Messe Düsseldorf Asia, says: “As a flagship trade fair in the region for the packaging and printing sectors, moving Pack Print International to next year was the most prudent and responsible decision in view of the ongoing travel restrictions and varying quarantine requirements for different countries. Following close consultation with our joint organizers – The Thai Packaging Association and The Thai Printing Association as well as various Thai agencies – postponing the trade fair was a unanimous decision and is in the best interest of exhibitors and visitors. For the planning certainty of our exhibitors, visitors and service providers, and to fulfill expectations for a vibrant business platform which has become the trademark of Pack Print International, all efforts will now focus on the successful staging in 2022.”

Pongthira Pathanapiradej, president of The Thai Printing Association, adds: “We are looking forward to welcoming all participants face-to-face next year with renewed confidence and optimism, as companies prepare to come back stronger and reimagine their businesses as they return to full speed. Pack Print International 2022 will be the ideal business platform for connecting exhibitors with a quality targeted audience, where companies can increase revenue, rebuild and strengthen operations and accelerate the implementation of digital solutions and relevant packaging and printing technology.”

Manit Kamolsuwan, president of The Thai Packaging Association, comments: “In preparation for 2022, we will continue to work together with local packaging and printing companies, encourage participation and share how Pack Print International can be the platform to rethink revenue profiles and revenue opportunities to position themselves for the long term as the pandemic abates.”

Pack Print International 2022 will be held concurrently with several other trade fair from the Messe Düsseldorf Asia portfolio including CorruTec Asia, T-PLAS, Medical Fair Thailand, Wire Southeast Asia, Tube Southeast Asia, and the premier editions of GIFA and METEC Southeast Asia.
