DSCOOP Announces Expanded Community Connecting Creatives and Printers

This has been a year of innovation for Digital Solutions Cooperative (Dscoop). In addition to exciting new features at its global conferences and interactive showcases, Dscoop is putting the final touches on its online community, designed to connect creatives and marketers to the world’s most innovative printers and projects.

The platform will feature thousands of world-class print projects – including production details, technological innovations, and results for building brand awareness, market growth and consumer loyalty. The platform will also offer the latest in live and digital education; tips and trends from industry leaders; and perhaps most importantly, the opportunity to be inspired by the power of today’s print.

To spearhead the new platform and the organization’s ongoing innovations, Dscoop announces Leta Wood as Chief Innovations Officer (CIO). Wood is the former Global Strategic Relationship Manager at HP. Having been in the industry for 23 years, Wood is well-known for her visionary leadership, cross-functional team-building, and her ability to drive change, as well as her love for print and long-term relationships with thousands of printers around the world.

Keith Wilmot, CEO of Dscoop, says he is thrilled to have Wood on the Dscoop leadership team. “Leta has been an integral part of Dscoop for over a decade,” says Wilmot, “and no one is more passionate about or more capable of helping our members grow and prosper. Leta is the ideal person to lead our digital platform, community growth and future innovations as we expand beyond our printer relationships to connect with creatives, marketers and other partners.”

“The new platform will increase awareness, education, and connection around the value of digital print and its ability to drive personalized, unique projects,” says Wood. “Dscoop will spotlight incredible print projects and the people and technology behind them — providing the ideation today’s creatives are looking for. It’s one of the innovations I’m most excited about.”

Adds Julian Marsh, Dscoop Global Chairman, “People are beginning to realize that print has a greater impact and retention rate than digital alone. With Leta driving the new platform and future innovations, Dscoop will be the conduit that provides continued awareness, education, connection, and inspiration.”

The launch date for the new expanded Dscoop is Jan 17, 2018. Watch Dscoop’s social media channels and print campaign for more information about how you can participate.
