Creative Director of Design, Global Packaging

As Microsoft’s Creative Director of Design, Global Packaging Marshall leads a world-class team of designers and is responsible for the realization of Microsoft’s creative strategy via packaging for brands worldwide including XBOX, Surface, PC Hardware, Office, and others.

He believes that intuitive packaging is one of a brand’s most vital assets in creating meaningful consumer relationships, and his specialties include creative leadership, brand vision and articulation, materials innovation and the cultivation of stakeholder partnerships.

Prior to joining Microsoft, Marshall was Creative Director of Marc Rosen Associates, an award-winning package design firm for the luxury, beauty and consumer packaged goods industry and Global Packaging Design Director for Avon Products, Inc.  He has worked with international clients such as Coty Beauty, Procter & Gamble, Estee Lauder, Bath and Body Works, O’Boticario and Brown Forman Co. to launch memorable programs that delight consumers, build brand equity and leverage the virtues of inspired design.
