Kroger issues recall for bottled water for babies

The Kroger Company has issued a recall for Comforts for Baby Purified Water with fluoride after complaints about mold.

According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, testing by Kroger has identified the mold as Talaromyces penicillium. The water is sold in clear containers but the mold may not be visible.

The recalled products are labeled with the UPC code of 0 41260 37597 with sell by dates from April 26, 2018 to Oct. 10, 2018.

Any customers who have purchased this water are asked to return it to the store for a refund.
