Phototype announces newest employees

Bill Gislason

In January of this year, Phototype hired Bill Gislason onto their team, where he now works as SVP of Sales and Marketing.

Bill is a proven sales leader with experience in design (both structural and graphic), the graphic arts/prepress/printing industry, package forming equipment, fulfillment, 3-D rapid prototyping, and all types of package conversion (including flexible, rigid, pulp, paperboard, plastic).

Bill started in the industry at The Westerman Print Company, and went on to become their VP of Sales. He later held Regional Sales Management and General Management positions for 6 years with Huhtamaki Packaging before spending 9 years with Haney as Director of Business Development. Before joining Phototype, Bill was Senior Manager of Business Development at IPL Plastics.

Gary Bernier

In September of last year, Phototype welcomed their current Chief Technology Officer, Gary Bernier. Bernier has extensive experience in packaging prepress and workflows, technology integration, digital printing, and business development, as indicated through his years of experience in the industry.

Most recently, Gary spent 6+ years at Hewlett-Packard focusing on customers and consumer product companies in leveraging the power of digital printing, specifically within the packaging industry.  Prior to HP, Gary was the Senior Director of Global Technology for Southern Graphic Systems (SGS) for 8+ years, where he oversaw their corporate technologies, enterprise solutions, and workflow integration worldwide. Prior to SGS, Gary spent 13+ years with Barco/Esko where his last area of responsibility was managing the pre-sales support teams.
