Scodix to showcase money-making digital enhancement in the Americas in Q1

Scodix will be promoting or sponsoring four different industry events in the first three months of 2018, geographically ranging from Minnesota and New York, down to Texas and Brazil. With commercial service providers eager to develop new revenue streams and enhance profit margins, digital print enhancement is expected yield industry wide sales of more than 25 billion embellished pages by 2020, at profit margins ranging up to 400% (according to a recent study by Keypoint Intelligence).

InfoTrends has also estimated that approximately 30% of all color pages printed in North America and Western Europe (or nearly 1.8 trillion pages), currently receive some form of special effects enhancements or embellishments. In fact, their research also found that 46% of enhanced offset printed material requires two or more enhancements. Accordingly, 89% of the polled print buyers were willing to pay a premium for digitally enhanced projects. For many service providers, digital enhancement offers a client-desirable path to substantial ROI, business and productivity growth.

Each industry demonstration will offer printing and packaging professionals the opportunity to investigate, first-hand, the Scodix UltraPro with Foil enhancement press. The tour invites graphic production managers to learn about how hundreds of Scodix customers, worldwide, are already differentiating themselves and establishing profitable new markets via better technology and capabilities.

North and South American Stops

NEW YORK (February 2nd): The first event will be an Open House held at GSB Digital in New York on February 2nd. GSB Digital installed a Scodix Ultra Pro with Foil Enhancement Press last fall. BRAZIL (March 20th): The third event will be at ExpoPrint Latin America 2018, which will be held in San Paulo, Brazil, March 20-24. The Scodix Ultra Pro with Foil Enhancement Press will be found in partner T&C Print Solutions’ Booth (#316). This is an opportunity for printers in Latin America to see how this press can transform their unique operations, and open up new opportunities.

TEXAS (March 25th): Scodix will be showcasing the Scodix Ultra Pro with Foil Enhancement Press at Dscoop, which will be held March 25-28 in Dallas, Texas. The press will be running in the booth, giving attendees a chance to see how the effects can help enhance any job run on a digital press, giving shops a new way to grow their businesses.

“We are incredibly excited about each of these events,” says Amit Shvartz, CMO, Scodix. “The Scodix Ultra Pro with Foil Enhancement Press is a significant and proven game-changer, and we believe that once printers to see it in action, in live situations, the press quickly becomes a viable and compelling business opportunity. We are looking forward to matching our innovation with the needs of service providers across the Americas.”

Attendees at both the open house and trade shows events will have the chance to see the award-winning Scodix Ultra Foil running live, and will have the opportunity to meet Scodix clients’ senior management to learn how they made the jump to high value digital enhancement.
