SOOPAK Accentuates Customer Service With New Certification

SoOPAK, a leading North American short-run offset packaging specialist, is pleased to announce its ISO 9001:2008 certification. By having its procedures rigorously audited by this respected external body, SoOPAK demonstrates its ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements and that the high principles of the ISO standard are being upheld. The firm has been certified since 2016.

“SoOPAK’s investment in the ISO 9001 certification sets us apart from our competition and demonstrates our continuing commitment to providing innovative, high quality, customer-focused packaging products and services,” says YaJun (Carol) Jiang, president of SoOPAK. “We are continually working to meet and exceed the expectations of our customers. By completing the ISO 9001:2008 certification, our management team at SoOPAK has demonstrated its willingness to emphasize our high standards of quality and customer service, which translates into great value and outstanding customer experience for all of our clients.”

The ISO 9001 is the world’s most commonly used quality standard that specifies the requirements for a Quality Management System (QMS) in business operations. The certification process, assessed by an independent accrediting auditor, attests that SoOPAK operates using globally recognized best practices in the areas of processes, documentation, and training to support its employees. The QMS impacts operations at all levels, from everyday administrative procedures, to delivery of products and services, sales and marketing, and committed customer service.

The standard is constructed around seven quality management principles (QMPs), as defined by the International Standards Organization (ISO):

  • customer focus;
  • leadership;
  • engagement of people;
  • process approach;
  • improvement;
  • evidence-based decision making;
  • relationship management

This internationally recognized standard is used by SoOPAK’s executive management team as a method of structuring its quality management procedures so that the team can run efficiently and effectively and most importantly provide the exceptional customer service that SoOPAK customers have come to expect.
