2017 Beaujolais Nouveau from Les Vins Georges Duboeuf

Wine shelves are about to look brighter when Beaujolais Nouveau Day arrives on Nov. 16 in St. Petersburg, Florida. The label was designed by Ari Assopardi-Robinson called “Candy Coated” of the 2017 Beaujolais Nouveau from Les Vins Georges Duboeuf.

The artwork is set to appear in the U.S. on as many as one-million bottles of the “first wine of the harvest,” which debuts, per French law and tradition at 12:01 a.m. on the third Thursday in November, according to a release.

Founder Georges Duboeuf started the Artist Collector Series to illustrate the parallel passions in wine and art, viewing win production as a true art form. The 2017 Beaujolais Nouveau brings the idea of following one’s passion full circle.
