Unreal Debuts Better-For-You Dark Chocolate Snacks to Challenge Industry Giants

Published

on

Continuing on a mission to transform American candy, Family (and friends) have helped Boston-based UNREAL launch their latest line in better for you snacks.

Now widening their portfolio from classic chocolate covered gems and peanut butter cups, the new UNREAL dark chocolate coconut bars are set to rival old guard brands such as Hershey’s Mounds in the US.

The UNREAL brand was created by two brothers, Nicky and Kris Bronner, when their parents told them to figure out why they had thrown out all their Halloween candy – what the boys then discovered about the additives, artificial ingredients and sugar in their Halloween haul shocked them.

Nicky and Kris set out on a mission to remake all their favorite candy, just without any of the bad stuff. Now seven products strong, the brothers continue to be inspired by their unreal dream.

These awesome tasting bars are made using just 3 ingredients – real organic coconut, cassava syrup and dark chocolate. They are vegan, non-GMO, Fair Trade certified, gluten free and can claim an incredible 50% less sugar than other leading brands. Sounds like paradise doesn’t it?

Since the rebrand, Unreal has become one of the fastest growing brands in the US natural chocolate category, doubling store count to 8,000 doors throughout the US and seeing 400% growth in revenue.
