Aqualitas is excited to announce that its brand, Reef, is hitting the shelves of the NSLC. Beginning on May 16, Nova Scotians will be able to purchase the company’s first recreational products through NSLC’s 12 cannabis outlets and website.
“We’re thrilled that Reef’s launch is into Nova Scotia’s cannabis retailer. We are so proud to make our home here along the south shore and are so grateful for the support we have already received from across the province,” says CEO, Myrna Gillis. “We’re looking forward to our friends, colleagues and neighbours being able to walk into the NSLC and come out with our local, organically grown, premium cannabis.”
Reef is the recreational brand of local licensed producer, Aqualitas, which is located in the community of Brooklyn on the site of the former Bowater Mersey Pulp & Paper Mill. As Canada’s first Clean Green Certified producer, Aqualitas grows its products for the medical and recreational marketplaces in organic living soil. The first Reef products that will be available in the NSLC will be High Seas, a high-THC sativa; Ebb & Flow, an indica with a more even blend of THC and CBD; and, White Shark, an indica-dominant hybrid with a mid-high level of THC.
