Hostess issues recall on Cookies ‘n Creme Brownies

Hostess Brands, LLC has announced its issued a recall of its Cookies ‘n Creme Brownies out of caution.

According to FOX 19, the FDA says the packaging lists eggs as an ingredient but does not list it in the “contains” statement, which is used to further alert consumers about allergens in the products. 

Affected products include:

PRODUCT: Cookies ‘n Creme Brownies MP FSH – ITEM UPC: 20888109113579

PRODUCT: Cookies ‘n Creme Brownies MP FZN – ITEM UPC: 30888109213573

PRODUCT: Cookies ‘n Creme Brownies SS FSH – ITEM UPC: 20888109012025

PRODUCT: Cookies ‘n Crème Brownies SS FZN ITEM UPC: 30888109022021

The FDA says there have been no reports of illness but those who have purchased the recalled products are urged to throw them away or return them for a full refund. Anyone with questions or concerns can call 1-800-483-7253.
