The New Year means innovative trends, must-have products and the latest in beauty technology. As trends come and go, L’Oréal Paris is dedicating 2018 to putting a new spin on beauty classics. Whether it’s the importance of a healthy skin or reviving hair from modern stressors, L’Oreal Paris’ latest in product innovations will help prep for a beautiful new year.

HEALTHY HAIR
Heat tools, color processing, and overall dryness can cause hair to lose its strength, become weaker, or even develop split ends. However, with a few products from the new L’Oréal Paris Elvive collection, which is designed to help prevent hair damage, women can obtain beautiful, revived hair every day.

The collection features a range of hair treatments to help revive hair from all forms of damage, with two standout products in particular that can seamlessly be worked into any routine. Considering using rinse-out hair mask L’Oréal Paris Elvive Total Repair 5 Damage Erasing Balm to repair up to one year of damage to the hair’s smoothness in one use. Combat protein loss in strands with L’Oréal Paris Elvive Total Repair 5 Protein Recharge Treatment, a leave-in post-shower treatment. The protein treatment is formulated to increase strength and protect against every day damage, resulting in 97% less breakage.

PRO TIP: Hair damage is personal. L’Oréal Paris is offering a one-on-one Elvive Live Chat to help consumers further understand damaged hair and receive recommendations for the products needed to bring each hair type back to life. The free service is available until mid-February.

GLOWING SKIN
With so many skincare products out there, it’s important to understand the essentials needed in any skincare routine: cleanse, exfoliate, moisturize and protect.

First and foremost in any routine, cleansing is necessary to remove everyday impurities, such as dirt, oil and pollution. Try L’Oréal Paris Pure-Clay Detox & Brighten Cleanser, a clay-to-mousse daily cleanser that gently detoxifies dull skin to reveal a luminous and clear texture.

Then, prioritize exfoliation at least three times a week to soften texture and reveal a freshly healthy skin surface. Try one of the new L’Oréal Paris Pure-Sugar Scrubs, which are formulated with Cocoa, Grapeseed or Kiwi and great for all skin types.

After, it is important to nourish the skin. New L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Cicacream Face Moisturizer is formulated with Centella Asiatica (an herb used in traditional Chinese medicine) and Pro-Retinol, which is used in formulations to address multiple signs of aging. Immediately, skin is more hydrated, looks healthier and feels softer and smoother.

Finally, protect skin from sun damage with a broad spectrum SPF, such as L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Anti-Wrinkle + Firming Day Cream SPF 18.

PRO TIP: For an extra refresh, try L’Oréal Paris Pure-Clay Clarify & Smooth Mask with Yuzu Lemon after cleansing to draw out extra build-up of impurities when a regular cleanser isn’t enough.

PREP WITH PRIMER
To avoid the mid-day makeup fade and other issues that arise once foundation has settled into the fine lines and dry, winter skin, use a primer. The all new L’Oreal Paris Infallible Makeup Primers will lock in foundation and concealer for long wear and create a smooth, flawless canvas for application.

L’Oréal Paris Infallible Pro Glow Lock Makeup Primer hydrates skin underneath makeup for an all-day healthy and radiant glow. L’Oréal Paris Infallible Pro Matte Lock Makeup Primer blurs imperfections and keeps oily skin in check while creating a matte canvas. Then, lock it all in with L’Oréal Paris Infallible Pro Sweep & Lock Loose Setting Face Powder, a pro-inspired, micro-fine loose powder which blends pores and lines for a smooth finish.

PRO TIP: Don’t forget the eyes. Use two-step L’Oréal Paris Voluminous X-Fiber Mascara with a black primer on one end to prep for building extremely long lashes.
