Registration For Free Entrance Opens For ADF&PCD Shanghai 2018

Following its huge success in New York and Paris, Aerosol & Dispensing Forum and Packaging of Perfume Cosmetics & Design is launching in China. ADF&PCD Shanghai, China’s only dedicated event for the aerosol, dispensing, perfume and cosmetic packaging community, will be held at Shanghai MART, on 28 & 29 March 2018. ADF&PCD Shanghai will bring the region’s personal care, cosmetic and beauty companies together with global brands to do business, learn, network and source the latest innovations from the world’s top design agencies and packaging suppliers.

The Chinese market is projected to become the largest for personal care and cosmetics products globally within the next ten years. The packaging of cosmetics and beauty products will be a key driver in the forecasted annual growth of up to 10 percent in the Chinese market, which means there has never been a better time for a dedicated cosmetic packaging, aerosol and dispensing trade event in China. The 25.2 percent annual growth in online cosmetic sales, and the shift from price driven to quality and brand driven purchases amongst an increasingly sophisticated consumer-base, represent unique challenges for the aerosol, dispensing and beauty packaging industry.

Recognising this, top suppliers, such as Dongguan Mingfeng Packaging CO, Emerson Process Management, Haimen Sanlong Glass Product Co, PPG Packaging Coatings and Shanghai Golden Import & Export Co have been quick to book stands, showing their support for the show.

For the first time, The Pentawards will host a conference in China, live at ADF&PCD Shanghai. The Pentawards provides brands in attendance with a dedicated design focused conference, featuring the best and brightest creative design minds from all over the globe, including China, which will include sessions led by award-winning design agencies, brands and suppliers. Attendees will learn the best ways to tell a brand’s story, how to deliver innovation through design, and how to compete with some of the world’s biggest beauty brands by turning packaging challenges into opportunities.

ADF&PCD Shanghai 2018 has two, free-to-attend conferences, which will be hosted by industry pioneers and thought leaders. The content will examine the industry’s increasing opportunities and will look at how to overcome the most common challenges, such as counterfeiting. The conferences will also focus on technical packaging innovations and strategies for the future of the Chinese aerosol and cosmetics market.

The show will also feature The Pentawards Exhibit which was successfully launched at Packaging Innovations London 2017. This will give attendees a global perspective of the best and most creative packaging designs from the last year.
