HP Inc. and AIGA, the professional association for design, announced their partnership in advancing digital print technology and digital user experiences. The collaboration seeks to bring AIGA members exclusive benefits to increase their capabilities in digital print innovation, and arm HP with valuable insights to deliver extraordinary and inspiring design ideas through AIGA’s diverse community of designers.

Since 2010, AIGA In-house INitiative has been a robust program providing the skills, tools, technologies, inspiration, and resources needed to enable designers to advance design competencies, build leadership skills, make a greater impact on business growth at their companies, and connect and collaborate with a broad network of peers and experts.

“HP’s digital print technology is changing the way designers work by providing them with cutting-edge tools to address the unique opportunities and challenges they face, ” says Shuchi Sarkar, HP Inc.’s Graphics Solution Business global marketing head. “Our partnership with AIGA underscores the industry’s transformation from analog to digital print technologies, as HP and AIGA empower designers to connect with customers in new and innovative ways.”

Partnering with HP will help AIGA chapters deliver more engaging brand experiences through innovative HP digital print applications and provide resources for in-house focused events and activities in their communities. HP will build awareness of HP tools, technologies, and capabilities, as well as create greater demand for HP customers at the local level. The sponsorship will extend through events and programming to provide AIGA’s growing segment of in-house members access to industry trends and market analysis. HP subject matter experts will bring their unique knowledge of digital and print to immersive workshops such as Innovation Labs hosted at HP’s Graphics Experience Center in Alpharetta, Georgia where designers get hands-on learning and practice real-life business problem solving using HP technology, software, and equipment.

“AIGA designers represent a powerful group of visual communicators, who serve every industry with design excellence. They are committed to designing experiences that drive business impact. They know that it’s a digital AND print world, and that the best experiences marry both mediums seamlessly,” says Julie Anixter, executive director, AIGA. “By partnering with HP, we’re able to help our members stay on the cutting edge of technology and add a whole new suite of ways to delight customers. We are thrilled about this partnership with HP and for what the pairing of our capabilities will bring in the future.”
